How We Build

Cambridge Homes takes a personalized approach to home building.  We build custom homes not only to meet your needs but to make your dream home a reality.  As an Authorized Builder of Amwood Homes, your home will be built using a panelized building system. This means it will be built in an efficient manner using advanced technology and quality materials.  Cambridge Homes also has sustainability in mind.  We use energy efficient lighting, appliances and more to ensure that your home is a place you can be truly proud of.

Not only are we home builders, we're Acreage Specialists.  We can build in town, on your existing land or help you find the perfect location for your home.  We currently have building lots available at Woodfield, an ecologically planned community north of Glenwood.

Panelized Homes

Builders and homebuyers today have recognized that building a new home “stick by stick” is often not the most efficient building method. Increasingly, homes are being built using a “panelized building system” – a construction technique that utilizes advanced technology, quality materials, and a controlled work environment – to build wall panels and other components to construct an energy-efficient and durable home in less time.

Learn more about panelized homes here.

The Panelized Home Building process is covered in this Today's Home Remodeler video with host Stuart Keith and the construction team from Amwood Homes. From building the walls, floor and roof system in a climate controlled environment to on-site construction we cover the process and the design flexibility that comes with panelized home building.

Custom Homes

Whether you are looking for a modern or traditional design, a contemporary or rustic feel, a home can be designed to fit your needs and budget with endless options for customization.

With computer-assisted design (CAD) programs, designers can turn just about any idea into a working blueprint. The plans for your home can be sent directly from a designer’s computer to the shop floor, ensuring your home is built accurately and efficiently.
